MS Windows 10 March 2021 Update
Microsoft’s latest release for Windows 10 March 2021 Security Update has been found to cause some users to experience system crashes when attempting to print from their computer. These crashes are being experienced when printing to devices from many different manufacturers, including Kyocera.

What is the issue?
Two recent Windows 10 Security updates were released on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 which are resulting in serious system crashes (known as BSOD or Blue Screen of Death) when attempting to print.

The Windows 10 updates, KB5000802 and KB5000808, are part of an automatic security update, which are installed on a user’s computer automatically. As a result, a significant portion of users may experience crashes when they use their Kyocera device.

What is the solution?
Microsoft has removed the affected software from future automatic security updates, however, many users have already installed these updates. The solution for these users is to manually uninstall the affected software update.

Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. is committed to providing the best support possible on this matter. To help, the Kyocera technical support team has created a technical bulletin that is available below for download. We will update this technical bulletin with any additional support information that becomes available regarding this Windows 10 Security Update issue.
